Stylish kitchen and dining room décor
Dining and kitchen areas need décors that could wake them up and make them come alive. In cases where dining and kitchen adjoin, decors must be planned that will make them blend with each other seamlessly. The design also has to be practical since moving around is done so much in these areas during meal times and decors should enhance and not detract. Small spaces need more design planning to make good use of the limited space and yet be aesthetically beautiful as well. 1. Scandinavian Dining Room
Floors play an important part in designing the interiors of the rooms. The white paneled wood floors perfectly matched the white interior of this dining room. It also made a lovely contrast to the brown colors of the wood table, chair and period cabinet.

The white kitchen island that was added as a divider and dining table as well matched the white kitchen yet provided a wonderful contrast to the black high chairs that are placed on the other side of the countertop.
3. Remodeled Modern Kitchen And dining
This kitchen was remodeled and the results are fantastic. The black colored kitchen island matched the cabinets very well and the use of mosaic tiles on the lower walls of the kitchen made it look fantastic. The use of great lighting ideas brightened the dining and kitchen areas.

Touches of blue in an all white kitchen made it look lovely and perfectly matched the blue walls of the living room. Additional floating shelves built on top of the wall gave storage space and the blue area rug is a nice touch.

The unique of the big lamp over the dining table is the focal point of this dining and kitchen area. Proper lighting is an important décor as poor lighting can make the areas dark and gloomy.

The red color that was used on the wooden table and chairs in the dining area matched the red shiny wood floors. It contrasted very well with the light brown color that was used on the kitchen cabinets.
