Gwathmey House looks like a single piece of modern structure. Green turf in the area acts as a green carpet. Azure sky with green trees matches the surrounding. Raw furnishing of the structure in a roundabout manner looks lovely. From the house itself the inside of the house can be seen. The structure clearly shows that the inside of the house looks chic and modern. It gives you an idea as to how the inside of the house will look like. Rawness and wooden furnishing both gives the place a temperate look and feel. The entire plan and sketch of the structure gives much needed warmth to the place. It does not look like the structure is in an urban area rather it looks uncultivated. Here are the some of the ideas behind:-
and in the middle stands an unconventional structure in unpolished beige colour with a yellow and red panel on the glass side. It has all the essential elements like the curve, square and rectangular slope. An inverted sloping triangle on the terrace can be seen.
The side view shows that the curved portion of the structure can be seen and sliding glass window on the terrace stands and plants surround the place. A different angle altogether is seen.
Black and white picture shows that the structure is rounded that looks like a big well in. Windy climate makes the place eerie and frozen in its barren form. Colours do not look appealing but the sombre tone of the structure minimizes the role of the modern structure.
The inside of the house looks shiny and polished. The marble floor has white and shiny smooth surface with a wooden top in a curved square like pattern and has silver stone studded on it. Dining area has ceiling which is low in height and the stairs are white with black railing.
Dining zone is combined with living room area that has both- dining table set and sofa placed side by side. The chairs are comfortable with soft velvet finish. Balcony can be opened up from the dining zone area.
Curved portion of the inside house acts as a stairway that goes round and round. The middle portion is divided by a yellow colour bridge like portion. Staircase is polished. There are many lights fitted on the ceiling and also on the panels which when lighted up will give the desired effect.
Hollow space from the down can be seen from below. Black railing goes through the stairs in a round manner. The structure looks sturdy as well as niche from the rest. Other rooms are not seen but it looks like a corporate house in its normalcy.
The sketch of the structure is more like a draft. The place can be traced from the rough drawing. Irregular shapes and structures are seen through the sketch. Until and unless sunshine enters the area the place looks gloomy.
