The Latterner Residence project looks to be carved out from deep wood which looks wild with vegetation. You can see that the place looks more of a spa corner. The key element in the project is the garden where almost everything grows. Florida is renowned for its keystone structure which is evident. The striking contrast of the surrounding is the architectural wonder of the interiors of the house. The foliage is dynamic in keeping with the modern times. A natural habitat of the coconut grove makes the place shine out and out in its richness of raw energy which is emitted by the grass and the lights from the inside. Detailing of the wood is shown in the pictures and there are lots of green plants filling the place. To know more about the pictures have a look at them:-
View of the house can be seen cutting across a small swimming pool area. There are wooden planks near the swimming pool. Bushes grow on the other side of the swimming pool which looks more like a spa bath.
From the side angle you can see that four pillars made of wood supports the huge ceiling of the house. Sofas are placed in the opening of the house itself.
Two bronze items can be seen one inside the house and one outside. There is a bronze waste bin and a pillar of the Roman warrior outside the house.
Providing detail to the ceiling roof is wooden panel which has layer like panels made in wood. The ceiling lacks little colour from the inside.
What looks like a swimming pool is actually an illusion because there are blue waters on two sides separated by the wooden plank which is actually a spa bath.
The wooden panel has a rod inside it that makes it supporting for the pillar.
The wooden panel is fixed like a box and makes you wonder whether you can open it and then close it. Multiple rods are inside the panels. The sturdy roof has a rectangular hole from which sunshine penetrates through.
What looks like a dilapidated backyard comes to life with the foliage. You can see ladders lying down, poles placed against the outside of the house attached to the wooden plank of the ceiling. White bricks and cement from it lies scattered outside the house. You can see a long coconut branch in the side of the house.
Green leaves falling over the sturdy roof which is not complete or has the idea of keeping it raw looks natural and a den in the woods.
When you see the walls it is clearly seen that it has not been painted to keep the rawness. The wall acts as a natural element in the dense jungle.
Detailing to the bricks is done by providing bronze colour cement in the middle separating the area of bricks which has a pastel shade on it.
